Currently our work is concentrated on ancient DNA and evolutionary genetics. This includes archaeogenomics of humans and domestic animals and population genomics. We work as part of the METU/Hacettepe Ancient DNA Lab.

We have also done work on comparative genomics and transcriptomics, including mechanisms of brain aging, the evolution of aging, mechanisms of neurodegenerative disease, and comparative transcriptomics to study questions in evolutionary biology. However, this line of studies is currently on hold due to lack of time and resources.
